As a follow up to my previous post, I wanted to take a step back and look at life after setting up a sales funnel.
A lot of new marketers will focus on the setting up of their simple funnel and then stand back admiring their handy work…
…only to find the fortunes they envisaged don’t come streaming through the door.
Let’s face it, no matter how good a product or service is….
…how good the sales funnel is….
…how good the sales copy is…
…how good the graphics are.
None of these amount to a hill of beans (there’s an expression I never thought I would ever use) without one thing.
Whether you are promoting things in the real world or in cyberspace, if you don’t get people seeing what you have to offer, you are frankly buggered.
Traffic is the life blood of any business
There are many ways to get traffic. Paid and free.
The rule of thumb is paid traffic is going to be quicker and take less effort, whereas free traffic is possible but WILL take you time and effort.
Therefore you need to do a quick assessment with where you are and how committed you are to your business.
Although both type traffic have their place (I personally use both), it is important to realise that free traffic costs in terms of time and effort AND more importantly, it is very easy to lose the motivation while waiting for the traffic to come.
In addition, if your sales funnel is set up correctly (as per my Ultimate Sales Funnel Blueprint 2.0), you should be making sales straight away which will at the very least subsidise the cost of paid traffic.
As with life, it is always worth looking beyond the surface details to get to the complete picture.
However if you really feel that you just don’t have the money to spend on paid traffic (I will write more about this subject soon), I have provided you some free training to get free traffic below.
